8/31/20: I really appreciate plants now

I am basically a plant now sooooooo

My companion only eats plant based foods so I hopped on that train real fast and it has actually been awesome. We have been super creative with recipes, eating Nicecream (blended frozen bananas and cocoa powder) and a lot of sweet potatoes
Not a lot of time today buuuut this week was awesome
We actually found someone on Instagram and we are teaching him and he is AWESOME AND SO PREPARED. We found him on a local skate park page and he actually has a Book of Mormon and we read the story of Enos with him and he was shooketh. We are so excited about our boy Brandon!!
We also said goodbye to Lupita this week but she will thrive in Mexico and the elders there will take care of her and help her prepare for the 12th.
We found a super awesome part member family to work with and the parents only speak Spanish so we teach them all in both languages.
We also did a service project at this crazy campground thing/zipline thing in the middle of nowhere and we were clearing up a hill so the owner could build a WATERSLIDE!! Turns out the campground is owned by a heal home for families overcoming abuse and such. The owners were super cool and they gave us cookies so it was a good time.
I went on an exchange in Turlock with Hermana Carlson and we were riding around on bikes and oh my gosh this wild street dog full grown German Sheppard came at me from the middle of the street and all I could do was bike faster until it gave up in trying to eat me... it was wild... i got my exercise in for the day. It has been super fun to go on a bunch of exchanges! We get to go up and train some of the sisters in Modesto this week so that should be super fun!
Our Spanish Branch is slowing starting to convert to Zoom and we have little Sunday night Ven Sígueme studies!! Progress!
Lots of good stuff to come and happening!
Love
