12/21/20: then one foggy Christmas Eve

Feliz Navidad and all that jazz!! It's going to be a great week! Here are some of the great things that happened this week as well:

-- we found 5 new people to teach this week! We have been asking everyone we meet for referrals... people we run into on the streets, members, after lessons, before, lessons, after phone calls... and we have actually been getting references and visiting them! It's been awesome!
-- Briss, one of the Hermanas in our group was having a birthday party for all 5 of her boys at the same time (she has triplets) and so we spent a little time one evening helping her set up and then on Saturday running bags of candy and tamales to the cars that came to the drive by birthday "honk and wave" party. We got some good contacting in! Also Briss is probably the coolest lady I have ever met.
-- so we went to contact a member from the group that we had met a couple times over the phone and it was dark outside and the fog was thicker than soup... and the house was waaaaay out in the fields. So we finally pull up to the house and it's dark and foggy and we start walking towards the house and suddenly a dog starts stalking us and coming out of the fog so we turn around to go back to the car and there is ANOTHER DOG also slowly stalking us... and then we look around us and there are like 5 other dogs in a variety of sizes all around us barking angrily and starting to surround us... so at this point we start walking really fast to the house but then... our cars headlights turn off and it is complete darkness and fog except for the Hermanas little porch light so we start running and pounding on the door and one of the dogs also starts running and we are both like HERMANA SOSA HERMANA SOSA ESTAMOS AQUÍ and she opened the door and called the dogs off... and we had a great very spiritual lesson but wow we almost got eaten alive
-- update on Pilar... well she is still stubborn as usual but we had a great lesson about keeping the sabbath day holy with her!
-- so. We met this man named Enrique and we had this awesome lesson about prayer with him and we got him to pray for the first time! Super awesome!!
It's going to be a great Christmas! Work to make it a good one for those around you!
