12/7/20: Busy with a side of blueberry pancakes

Quite a week we had out here in little Dinuba. Let's run through the highlights:

- we met and have been teaching a lady named Luisa. She lives in a tiny town called London... which if you can picture the exact opposite of what London England looks like that is what this London is...very very tiny, it is about 3 streets and a grocery store, surrounded by orange trees. But anyways we have been meeting with her and she is so funny!! She is a single mom and works in the fields all day and that is HARD WORK and she was having some back problems soooo we offered to bring the Elders to give her a blessing. The next lesson we brought the Elders and after the blessing she got up super excited and ran to grab her 13 year old son from his room and she was like BLESS HIM TOO. He was pretty confused but we explained to him and he accepted a blessing as well!
- Last night we had an awesome lesson with Manuel and Cesar! I have written about Manuel a little bit, but not about Cesar. He is also YSA aged and works with some rich guys horses. Both him and Manuel are super funny characters but super nice and taking the lessons and speak English sooo naturally we paired up for a lesson with the missionaries covering YSA over zoom and it was awesome!
- this week we also had Mission leadership council and that was super cool. Hermana Roller and I also gave a training! It was pretty cool... but we literally planned it the night before (we learned that day before that we were giving the training) and made a PowerPoint in the car on the way over and so that was kinda stressful
- Hermana Roller and I tried to make blueberry pancakes and almost burned the house down but it was worth it.
Lots of good stuff happening as usual!
