10/26/20: Good Stuff!

 Things are good como siempre aquí en Ceres California. We are booked back to back each day with lots of things to do. I am very happy.

We had 2 exchanges back to back this week! Both up in Modesto with the 2 sister leaders there. It was cool to see how English work is done and join the sisters in knocking some good old doors and Facebook finding and talking to some cool neighbors. Both sister leads have been out for almost a year... but both of them have barely had any "outdoor" finding experience. So we worked a lot on that as well as on facebook!

Speaking of which... our Book of Mormon ad is POPPING. We got some pretty spicy comments demanding that we repent for spreading false doctrines buuuut we also got a bunch of referrals for across the mission! Ok also. We started teaching a man whose first contact with the church and missionaries was actually through FACEBOOK. He saw a bunch of videos about the church and even chatted with missionaries online and then requested us to pass by with a Book of Mormon. His name is César. He is awesome.

We also made some AMAZING progress with Baltazar. We talked about the commandments with him and... we might be having a makeshift wedding for him and his family before his baptism soooo that is exciting! He is awesome, and his girlfriend Selina started taking some of the lessons too. We brought a member with us to one of the lessons, Hermano Ruiz, who delivers refrigerators and when we introduced him to them he immediately looked at us and said

... Hermanas... les entregué un refrigerador ayer.. he delivered a fridge to them literally the day before.

We had church outside yesterday. It was soooo chilly!! But it was still awesome! Also. Lizbeth Perez is on date for baptism!! I have been working with her and her whole family for the full 5 transfers I have been here. She really wants to get baptized with her brothers so we will be working in that this week! All is well!
