Hello Family!! 

I hope everyone is doing well and making the most of whatever circumstances you may be finding yourselves in! 

As you may know, missionary work has been slowed just a little bit due to this Corona Virus and temples have been closed for a short time. We have been asked by leaders though to keep moving forward, growing the work, and preparing for the wave of work and miracles that will hit after this is all over! One way that I have been pondering about that we can all help Gather Israel, despite our circumstance (and hopefully made easier by the amount of time we are all spending at home) is... Family history!!! I would love to invite everyone to work on their family history and begin to prepare names for the temple! If you feel that the work is done, please contact your family history advisor over the phone and I am sure they will help you find somewhere to start! Find and enter photos, record stories of family you knew, prepare names, clean up sources! Let's get some work prepared for when the temples open up! 

My mission has blessed me with many opportunities to really see the blessings of doing family history. I have been able to go to the temple with many converts who are taking their own family names and there is no better joy and there is no greater work than bringing your own family closer to Jesus Christ through baptism! There is also nothing more uplifting than learning about your family and adding to the records of their lives! 

I hope that working on family history will bring joy and a little peace to all of you during this time! I would love to hear updates or discoveries as everyone works!

If you need help or have questions PLEASE send me questions or call your local family history advisor (ask them how to find sources, that will keep you busy for hours on end!). There is a lot to be done!
