7/27/20: we are on the struggle bus...and there is no air conditioning.

Hello everyone! I'm just over here in Ceres trying to become an Instagram Influencer. I wish I was joking but here I am.

We actually started doing love streams to try and get some type of interaction going in the self centered world that Instagram is and my good friend, London Jensen, was kind enough to play Guinea pig and share some of her story! It was actually super fun and London is super cool so it was pretty spiritual as well and we had a lot more success than we originally intended so now we are working on making it bigger and better and we have some awesome people lined up for future livestreams including... a k pop star? A local dad who has a famous YouTube channel? A Ted X speech coach? The lord provides.
It should be a good time.
I also got to lead another exchange bit this time here in Ceres hosting Hermana Chambers! She just started her training but is already doing wonderful! It was a great day!
We also have been teaching a lady named Luz Garcia over the phone. We have never seen this woman, we have only ever heard her voice, but I LOVE HER!!! She can't read at all so we cant make an excuse to drop by with a Libro de Mormón... but she wants some pictures of Jesus so we plan to bike past her house and meet her in person! She is super sweet and always answers the phone and always keeps her invitations... but wants to know everything before being baptized... so we are hauling at lessons over the phone
We also started teaching this college student from Peru! We found him through Facebook when we started a "Watch Party" on a religious spanish Facebook group of the entire Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration movie. We thought it was kinda funny at first and no one was really interacting but then we messaged all of our 27 viewers and this dude actually wanted to learn more! We love Andrés!
We have been hauling in service opportunities because of some ads we posted and this one lady we helped with her garden had like 17, fat, old, grungy cats. Amen the lord really does love me.
We also have been teaching English and it is so fun! We only have like 3 students but it's super lit. They are all mega smart. My favorite student lol is Franklin who is from Argentina and he literally ROASTS ME EVERY SINGLE CLASS but it's fine because I just give him more homework than everyone else.
It's a good time down here in Ceres! We try and bike everyday! California is so slow with this whole quarantine thing and everyone is freaked out but...we keep thriving!
