6/21/20: Let's just take a wheedwacker to all these fake problems!
Hey everyone! We had quite the week over here! We did lots of service for a variety of different people and places haha!
We cleaned a garage. Made HECKA soup for a food bank. Held a mask drive. And best of all... cleaned the front yard of a kinda semi hoarder... I came in close contact with many many spiders and roaches and it was so so hot outside and super dusty but honestly really fulfilling to just clear that yard out!! The best part was when we were trying to weed whack the lawn with this ancient weedwhacker and we couldnt figure it out and suddenly this old man just pops his head over the fence and starts giving us directions on how to use it. We slowly started fading into madness trying to follow this man's directions and each others ideas and so the man over the fence just grunts "let me put on some shoes. I'll be over in a second" op. Well he did come over in his jorts and flipflops. And nothing else. and he just wow really slammed that weedwhacker to the dusty grass and let it fly. He showed us how it was done for sure haha. It was quite the sight. 4 dusty sweaty missionaries and this giant shirtless guy early in the morning hacking up a lawn.
This week I learned how to choose to be happy. Our area is just a little frustrating and we dont have an area book or a lot of resources my little brain is used to... cough cough knocking doors... and we saw ourselves getting a little discouraged through it all and feeling just kinda sad during the day... but those problems ARE NOT REAL we have every single resource we need and we are doing the Lords will everyday and should feel grateful!! It can be hard to choose joy but we learned and are continuing to learn how to find that joy and peace and satisfaction with each day that all homes through Christ.
Also. Yesterday. WE PUT A DATE ON JUAN!!! He is getting baptized this week on the 27th and we are absolutely ecstatic for the one person we actually teach and interact with!!! It is all about the one!! Or the Juan I should say. Juan is a champ. He is plowing through the Book of Mormon and his conversion is just so solid!!!
Well those are the highlights! We are working hard and also we dropped a new video woot woot (go and share it, link below) and we are working on another ans continuing to teach English (super fun) and also... we are on bikes again!!! Super super super hot and Ceres is a wack place to be on a bike but honestly it's super fun!! Lots of love!

A montage of every peace sign I have thrown this week.
Also yes I am coming out of a trash can.
From Mama: I see you got the bday package since you are wearing the ramen shirt! Yay! You look darling in it. And coming out of the trash can. Be sure to buy cake or something yummy on your actual day with the cash I sent. :) Also, did the pants fit ok?
