5/25/20: You have exactly 7 minutes to shave my arm hair

Another week another giant change! This week on Wednesday we got a call and I found out that I would be training again!! And re opening Ceres 3.2... for real this time! In quarantine! So we got everything ready and we picked up mí hija on Friday and started the work all over again! Hermana Curtis, my new companion, has had quite the mission so far. She finished her training before quarantine began but then only had a few days in field working before quarantine and then was sent right back home to Rexberg Idaho where she stayed a little over a month and then came here! Her Spanish is wonderful... but she has never knocked a door or taught a lesson. No worries! Hermana Wegesend and Heiner are here to practice some teaching situations and Hermana Curtis is excited and ready to learn!  As for Ceres 3.2... we have one investigator... who is actually stuck in Mexico due to the quarantine. So we are gonna be calling literally the entire area book and every single member ever to possibly reside in Ceres. Also we are gonna POUND OUT some quality Facebook finding. No wasting time on basketball scripture shot videos for us.

Before Hermana Curtis came on Friday we taught a woman from Arkanasa that we found on facebook. She was very cordial but hahahaha she bashed us HARD. She has a masters in historical literature and works for a church so uhhh there was no way to combat her. But we bore testimony and challanged her to take the faith to find the truth through the Book of Mormon and she actually accepted... I dont think there is a scripture in the bible restricting that. So we are getting her a copy! She actually was super cool. I would love to have a sit down conversation with her someday about soviet-british relations in the 1950s. She seemed to know alot about that and the bible.
A more refreshing contact we had this week was yesterday with the Ruiz Family. Hermana Curtis and I went to drop off a thank you note planning to maintain social distancing (the family is participating in our cook off!!) and obviously neither of us had met the family before but as we walked us the gravel road to their home suddenly the entire large family just came from no where surrounding us and hugging us and breaking every social distancing rule that has ever been made. There were suddenly children screaming and throwing McDonalds fries at each other and small dogs everywhere y la señora de la casa was introducing us to every single possible person in a mile radius and even yelling thrpugh the window at her teenage kids to wake up and bring las hermanas food... my isolated mind was shook at the sudden amount of action and contact and both of us were shoved into lawn chairs and told to eat bowls of rice. It was hard to leave... I admit I really didnt want to haha... but we eventually did. It was honestly a very refreshing experience. We washed our hands a lot afterwards though.
Oh yeah Hermana Wegesend and I had a race one night to see who could shave their arm hair faster. I couldn't tell you why. Good times.
Well the work of the Lord continues! Paz y bendiciones.
