03/09/20: Some quick updates

-Yair was baptized this past weekend!!! It was super awesome! There was some crazy stuff leading up to the baptism but it totally worked out and wow it was just super super cool to be able to witness that. Yair has made some serious 360 degree changes in his life and honestly Heavenly Father really has been looking out for him and Yair took all the resources he was given and put them to work! And now it is temple time! Super exciting!

-Ok so Ruben actually was not baptized this week... kinda heartbreaking... he couldn't find a way to make it back in time from work. Despite the whole INSANE work situation...He has the desire to be baptized but needs to take a few more steps of faith and make some sacrifices before he will be completely there...unfortunately salvation and a lifetime of blessings and growth does not come free but every sacrifice we make is absolutely 110% made up for by God in the long run it's just super scary to take those first few steps. Still learning how to take those steps myself honestly.
-Randy is still perfect and now baptized and ready to work up to being sealed to his wife in a year or so!!! Literally i just love Randy and Danielle so much and absolutely made my entire life to see Randy take that step.
- wow it is crazy how fast time just goes. Honestly some days it just feels like nothing is getting done and like there is no output from all this input but that is exactly how Satan wants us to feel and see ourselves as...useless. But everything that we do with a righteous desire will have a positive output somewhere along the way. Sometimes we never see it and that is where faith and hope and all those other good words come into play. Heavenly Father only sets us up for success and through the atonement all gaps-caused by our own imperfections or others- will be filled. Sometimes i just got to take a step back and think about that haha.
- Our sports night we have every Tuesday was taken up a couple notches when one of our friends brought all of his roommates from El Salvador and we played soccer and literally all 4 of them HAVE BEEN PLAYING SOCCER LITERALLY SINCE THE WOMB so it was hard to keep up...but it was also super super fun haha!
- My trainee is doing super mega awesome and we are working to get her ready to lead the area for when I go... I don't know if 6 transfers here in Los Banos is set in the future... but she is awesome and doing great in all aspects! Flipping love her.
that's all!
Love
