Letter to Tom
Dear Eden,
I hope you are having a great time in Las Banos. Please tell me if you have baptized anyone. What are the people like there?
We got our stockings and got a Christmas tree last Saturday. The Christmas tree is a lot smaller than most of the trees we have had, because we are living in a tiny house. It is in the kitchen instead of the family room. We put it next to the sliding glass door. Our stockings are hanging on the wall since we don't have a fireplace. Before all of that stuff, we put up our Christmas village and a nativity. Instead of in the family room we put the village on top of the kitchen cabinets. On Thursday we went to a ward Christmas party. It was very fun, especially for my Dad, because he talked to a lot of people. Also, we put up our Christmas lights outside. But they are different ones-- snowflakes and a wreath thing.
Try the best you can to get people to be baptised. Work the hardest that you can.
Love, Tom
Hi there Tommy!
Wow we have helped a lot of people be baptized and follow Jesus Christ! Here is one boy named Zayden Maka. He is 10. You and him would probably be good friends! you have always been so good at making friends! your christmas decorations sound so much fun! I love that Christmas village and I am so happy to hear it is in a place where everyone can see it.
The people here in Los Banos are so amazing! There are so many different types of cultures and backgrounds. there are many many people from all over Mexico. Did you know mexico has states like America? Can you find the State of Oaxaca? Jalisco? There are many people here from those areas. I promise i am working very very hard!
I love you so so much Tommy! Keep doing well in school! you are a very smart boy.
