12/02/19 por favor tenga misericordia conmigo Rita

Wow. Pictures speak louder than words so here is how my 5 Thanksgiving dinners went this week! We went to homes wirh a variety of different culturesand backgrounds and it was so fun to see how everyone did thanksgiving!! See pictures below...

Ruben finally was able to come to church this week which was super super exciting because we know it was a really huge sacrifice for him! He came to our 7pm session and it was really awesome because it was fast and testimony meeting so I got to share my spanglish testimony to the few people that were there!
We have found so many teens and kids that need baptism just through visiting less active members but it is really frustrating because many of these kids and teens that we find are super ready and want to be baptized and come to church but they are kinda held back because of their parents... we are trying to navigate through this tangled mess that we have kinda run into but if we can get through it then we will be super busy this month!!
SISTER MAKA WENT THROUGH THE TEMPLE AND LOVED IT!!! I am so happy that we got to be apart of her getting there!!
Light the World is honestly the best thing ever because when we knock on a door and the person that answers is angry at us we just start talking about christmas and serving people and boom, done, they are interested or at least a little nicer!
I hope yall had wonderful thanksgivings!! Have a super fantastic week and FIND WAYS TO SERVE.

4) We ate a wonderful ladies home, Rita Salazar, who is from Guatemala and was actually my first baptism here! She worked all day to prepare a delicious Guatemalan feast for us and her Grandson but by the time we got there we were so so so full and she really just loaded food onto that plate.... I really was trying to eat as much as I could because she worked so hard and it was just us and her but I couldn't finish and Rita kept just pushing more and more for me to eat and I was super flustered trying to explain the situation cause Spanish... I made it out alive but wow we really had a whole other dinner after that too... yikes

Also here is a really good picture of me in a giant chair in Downtown Los Banos...

Eden, This is Daniel.  I am good, very good at school.  My teacher said that I am very good.  I am good at remembering all the stuff at school.

I played with cousin Isaac.  We played a lot of games.  We played fun games.  We played chess, and we did balloon wars too.

So lets talk about where I slept.  I slept on the floor with Teddy and a blanket and a pillow. I was sleeping near mom and dad. It was in the upstairs room.

So now let's talk about tubing.  We got a tube. Before we did that we did a snowball fight. I went with Dad, Jon, Ben, Tom, Buddy, and Grandpa Putnam.  We went to get the tubes and then we went down the hill very very fast. It was a long hill!  It was very fun Eden!

Love you, Daniel
